Eastern PA, New York & New Jersey
Travel Interstate 81 South through Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia. Just before Abingdon, Va (about 1 hour & 15 minutes west of Roanoke) exit to Route 91, South. Follow Route 91 South into Mountain City, TN, where it connects with Hwy 421 South. Follow Hwy 421 South into Boone, NC.
Turn right at the first stoplight in Boone, marking the Hwy 105 Bypass, and follow until it ends at a stoplight at Hwy 105. Turn left in the right hand left turning lane onto Hwy 105 North, then turn right onto Poplar Grove Road just past the Tomato Shack on the right. Follow Poplar Grove Road for 3.8 miles until it ends at Shulls Mill Road. Turn left onto Shulls Mill Road. Entrance to the Yonahlossee Resort is 300 yards ahead on the left.
Keep in mind that distances will seem longer than mileage indicates because of the curvy mountain roads.
