Travel Interstate 77 South until it connects with I-81 South at Wytheville, VA. Take I-81 South to the exit for Route 91 South just before Abingdon, VA. Take Route 91 South into Mountain City, TN, where it connects with Hwy 421 South. Follow Hwy 421 South into Boone, NC.
Turn right at the first stoplight in Boone, marking the Hwy 105 Bypass, and follow until it ends at a stoplight at Hwy 105. Turn left in the right hand left turning lane onto Hwy 105 North, then very quickly turn right onto Poplar Grove Road just past the Tomato Shack on the right. Follow Poplar Grove Road for 3.8 miles until it ends at Shulls Mill Road. Turn left onto Shulls Mill Road. Entrance to Yonahlossee Resort is 300 yards ahead on the left
Keep in mind that distances will seem longer than mileage indicates because of the curvy mountain roads.
